Description
Protopasta's Carbon Fiber PLA is an easy-to-print PLA material made from the highest quality dry raw materials. The CF PLA filaments have high stiffness, excellent layer adhesion and minimal warping even without a heated bed.
Models printed with it have a beautiful matt black surface with a slight sheen. The carbon fibres make the layer lines disappear, making the material ideal for 3D printing precise parts.
Danger! Compared to standard PLA filaments, Protopasta's CF PLA is more abrasive. When processing abrasive materials, individual components can wear out more quickly. Therefore, it is recommended to regularly maintain the hardware and replace the nozzles. For prolonged use, wear-resistant nozzles are recommended.
Tip: For best printing results, Protopasta recommends using a 0.6mm nozzle and a printing temperature of 210-230°C. Nevertheless, the composite filaments can also be easily printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle. A heated bed is not required.
