LW-PET Flex Max Natural, 1,75 mm / 1000 g

colorFabb LW-PET Flex Max Natural is a lightweight, highly flexible coPET and TPU filament with active foaming technology, adjustable density and low warping. It is designed for parts that need to weigh little, flex considerably and absorb sudden impacts without breaking.

Flex without breaking

Rigid materials can crack when bent too far, while very soft filaments add weight. LW-PET Flex Max offers low weight and flexibility while maintaining structural stability. It is designed for a balance of flexibility and strength, rather than softness alone.

Control density through temperature

Heat activates the foaming technology. The material starts to expand at around 210 °C, with expansion increasing up to approximately 260 °C. Lower temperatures produce denser parts, while higher temperatures create lighter structures with lower density. Adjusting the temperature and flow rate lets you control the balance between weight and strength.

Easy to print

The filament can be printed at relatively low temperatures and remains printable up to 300 °C. Its wide printing temperature range and low warping make it suitable for many printers and applications.

Typical applications include drones, RC components, lightweight enclosures and impact-absorbing parts. It is well suited to projects where rigid filaments would be too brittle and conventional flexible materials would add unnecessary weight.
