Description
PCTG from Extrudr is a scratch-resistant filament with a glass-like appearance, characterised by high chemical and thermal resistance as well as exceptional mechanical properties. Despite being flexible, PCTG possesses good stiffness and excellent impact resistance. Furthermore, this PCTG features flame-retardant properties according to UL94 V2 and HB, and complies with certifications such as Cosmetic, FDA, REACH, and RoHS.
As a modified copolyester, PCTG is ideally suited for industrial applications. Its heat deflection temperature of 80 to 90 °C makes it particularly interesting for the production of everything from electronic components to kitchen utensils. The material is easy to process and therefore suitable for beginners.
Tip: Layer adhesion is excellent with sufficient heat and low cooling.
