The distance between the building board and nozzle can be determined accurately with the feeler gauge .
The sheet metal is made from hardened and polished carbon steel. The individual sizes visible on the strips of sheet metal.

Its seems to be a great quality tool, but the one I got was slightly defective. I did not get a 0.05 blade in the set, but two 0.15 instead. One if which the drillhole was partially broken. So I can with this kit make perfect 0.2mm first layers, yes, but not the 0.1mm I intended this tool for.
