Description

The Prusa Prusament PETG Recycled is an in-house manufactured filament made entirely from recycled Prusament PETG. It is produced from shredded filament that did not pass internal quality control, yet still consists of technically sound material. As a result, each batch features a unique, slightly varying colour tone.

Like standard PETG, the recycled version offers excellent layer adhesion, producing dense, stable and water-resistant parts. The material is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

PETG is a tough, durable material with good temperature resistance. The glycol modification (“G”) improves printability, reduces brittleness and enhances clarity in semi-transparent variants. At the same time, PETG exhibits low thermal expansion, meaning even larger prints are less prone to warping - often without the need for an enclosed build chamber.
