Elegoo PC-FR Black, 1,75 mm / 1000 g

Elegoo PC-FR is a flame-retardant polycarbonate filament for parts where fire safety is a key requirement. It combines certified self-extinguishing performance to UL 94-2023 V-0 with the impact and heat resistance associated with PC, making it suitable for automotive, electronics and mechanical engineering applications.

In accordance with the UL 94-2023 V-0 standard, PC-FR self-extinguishes quickly once the ignition source is removed, helping to prevent flame spread. This makes it a suitable choice for housings, connectors and components where fire-safety requirements apply.

PC-FR offers greater impact resistance than standard PC and can absorb high levels of energy. Parts can therefore withstand sudden impacts, drops and repeated loads without breaking.

PC-FR also remains dimensionally stable at elevated temperatures and resists deformation and softening under thermal load. Parts therefore remain functional and reliable even when used near heat sources.

► Note: Elegoo PC-FR requires hardened steel nozzles; 0.2 mm nozzles are not compatible. For optimum print quality, the filament should be dried before printing. An adhesion aid such as a glue stick is recommended on the print bed, and an enclosed printer is required.
