Description

The Creality SpacePi SE Filament Dryer keeps your filament ready for printing at all times. Moisture is one of the most common causes of stringing, nozzle clogs and poor layer adhesion. The SpacePi SE tackles this issue efficiently and energy-savingly with an upgraded PTC heating concept and improved sensor technology.

New PTC heating solution

The SpacePi SE uses an upgraded PTC heating system that offers clear advantages over conventional dry boxes with heating wires: faster heating, higher energy efficiency and more stable temperature control throughout the drying process. In direct comparison, the SpacePi SE consumes just 0.05 kWh over one hour at 65°C, while a conventional Dry Box 2.0 with a traditional heating wire consumes 0.06 kWh.

Second-generation temperature and humidity sensor

To ensure truly even drying, the SpacePi SE is equipped with a second-generation temperature and humidity sensor. It responds directly to even the smallest changes inside the drying chamber, helping to keep conditions constant without major temperature fluctuations.

Adjustable temperature range from 45°C to 65°C

The heating temperature can be smoothly adjusted between 45°C and 65°C, covering the requirements of the most common filament types, including PLA, PETG and TPU. Suitable drying values can be selected for each material without compromising gentle material care.

Recommended temperatures & drying times by material type:

PLA 50°C ≥ 4 h
TPU 60°C ≥ 4 h
PP 65°C ≥ 6 h
ABS 65°C ≥ 8 h
ASA 65°C ≥ 4 h
PETG 60°C ≥ 4 h
PC 65°C ≥ 8 h
PA 65°C ≥ 12 h

24-hour timer for complete drying

The drying time can be adjusted continuously from 0 to 24 hours, allowing even heavily moisture-affected filaments to be dried thoroughly in one cycle without manual monitoring.

Real-time status on the display

The integrated display shows all relevant values at a glance: current temperature, internal humidity and the remaining timer countdown. This lets you see the progress of the drying process at any time.

Thoughtful details

  • reliable power switch directly on the device,
  • silicone seal at the filament feed-through: protects the spool from moisture, even while printing,
  • thermally insulating inner lining ensures stable temperatures inside and helps protect the outer housing from excessive heat build-up.
