Description
Vallejo Model Color Liquid Metal is an alcohol-based, fast-drying metallic paint with real metal pigments and a high gloss finish. Instead of relying on glitter particles or light glazes, Liquid Metal uses fine, real metal particles in an isopropyl alcohol carrier liquid. The result is closer to polished metal than standard model paint and has a realistic look under light.
Eight shades that can be combined as desired
The range includes eight metallic shades that can be mixed with one another to create custom shades or ageing effects. As the paint dries quickly, several layers can be applied in a short time, for example to create signs of wear on blades or armour edges.
Application with a brush or airbrush
Liquid Metal can be applied with both a brush and an airbrush. Pure isopropyl alcohol is suitable for thinning and for cleaning brushes and airbrushes. Avoid contact with water, as it may affect the glossy effect and colour.
