Vallejo Model Air 71278 Sand Yellow (RLM79)

The Vallejo Model Air Paints are water-based acrylic paints designed specifically for airbrushing.

The Model Air paint palette contains the most comprehensive selection of military colours used in recent history, including the colours of the First World War, World War II to the present day. Each paint is based on extensive research by the Vallejo experts on existing and past military credentials to provide the model builder with the highest levels of historical accuracy possible.

Model Air is used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to prime the surface first and then apply Model Air in several coats. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous paint film of exceptional durability, while preserving even the smallest details of the model.

For airbrushing with these paints, we recommend a compressor air pressure of 15 - 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Of course, Model Air can also be applied with a brush.
