Description

Reflecon Tarnish 50 is an application-optimised, cyclododecane-based matting agent designed for precise optical 3D scanning processes. It was developed specifically for applications where a significantly extended sublimation time is required.

Compared with other Reflecon Tarnish scanning sprays, Tarnish 50 offers a sublimation time of around 5–8 hours, depending on the surface of the object, ambient temperature and environmental conditions. This makes it particularly suitable for large or complex components that require longer scanning procedures.

The product is suitable for almost all surfaces, although a compatibility test is recommended beforehand. Its solvent-reduced formulation helps create a more pleasant working environment with a mild odour. Reflecon Tarnish 50 provides a uniform matting effect and sublimates automatically once the scanning process is complete.
