Description
The Prusa Prusament PETG Carbon Fiber combines the proven performance of Prusament PETG with carbon fibre reinforcement. The result is a technically enhanced filament offering improved stability, increased stiffness and a distinctive matte carbon finish.
Compared to standard PETG, the carbon fibre variant provides greater dimensional stability, a higher modulus of elasticity and enhanced temperature resistance. At the same time, the material exhibits reduced warping, making it particularly suitable for precise, dimensionally stable components. The fibre reinforcement results in robust, durable printed parts with a professional appearance. Its matte surface helps to conceal layer lines, creating a refined, technical look.
The carbon fibre used in the filament is sourced from recycled industrial waste and reclaimed end-of-life carbon composite materials. Prusament PETG Carbon Fiber therefore combines high technical performance with a more sustainable material.
