The Phrozen PFA (nFEP) Film for the Quick-Release Resin Vat is the official replacement release film for the Phrozen Quick-Release Resin Vat. It is 0.15 mm thick, offers 97.5% UV transmittance and features pre-punched holes. The film can be replaced without tools.

Designed to fit the Quick-Release Vat perfectly

The film is specifically designed for the locking mechanism and fixing plate of the Quick-Release Resin Vat. Its pre-punched holes are precisely positioned, eliminating the need for cutting. No screwdrivers or other tools are required for replacement, while the supplied silicone layers ensure correct alignment and even film tension.

Your printer reminds you when it's time for a replacement!

The resin printer tracks the number of film release cycles and displays a replacement notification once the recommended threshold has been reached. This means you don't have to guess when the film needs replacing.

Replace the film when the printer displays a notification, if the surface develops scratches, holes or deformations, if the film becomes cloudy, or if print failures become more frequent or models start detaching. Phrozen recommends replacing the film every 3 to 6 months as a general guideline. Its actual service life depends on printing frequency, resin type and handling.

Care and handling

After printing, carefully wipe any remaining resin from the film using a paper towel. Keep metal scrapers and sharp tools well away from it. Replace the film immediately if it becomes damaged or excessively cloudy to prevent resin from reaching the LCD screen.

Phrozen's recommendation: Use genuine replacement film only

Phrozen advises against using third-party film cut to size in the Quick-Release Vat, as misaligned holes or uneven tension can affect layer release and printing stability. A separate film is available for the Heated Resin Vat, but it is not compatible with this vat!
