Description
The BIGTREETECH EBB SB2209 USB is a USB-based board specially designed for Voron StealthBurner that handles a variety of control tasks and provides a solid foundation for the smooth operation of the toolhead.
High-performance MCU
The powerful 64 MHz STM32 MCU provides reliable performance for higher data transfer rates over long distances.
Ultra Silent Driver
The board is equipped with the extremely quiet TMC2209 driver. The driver not only has a variety of diagnostic and protection functions such as short circuit and open circuit protection, thermal shutdown and undervoltage shutdown, but can also deliver more current at lower temperatures thanks to internal optimisations.
Additional features:
- Drop-in installation with careful arrangement of connections and integrated connectors,
- Possibility of adding a second display on the extruder front cover,
- Onboard temperature sensor.

A useful addition to the StealthBurner toolhead
The USB setup is very easy, the wiring and crimp can be fiddly, It all seems to work as advertised. But the large XT30+2 connector is not easily fed through a PG7 umbilical support.
The EBB SB2209 works well with my Raspberry Pi 4 (2GB) board, but was very reluctant with a Pi3B+ maybe due to lack of memory (maybe USB power issues??)
