With an optimised melt channel, a precision-machined titanium heat bridge and a hardened, DLC-coated steel nozzle, it increases volumetric flow by up to 87% compared with the U1's standard stainless-steel hotend, while maintaining the same power consumption. Split-channel melt structure for higher throughput The Liber™ hotend uses a split-channel structure in the melt zone to optimise the filament path and reduce heat loss. Compared with the standard hotend, volumetric flow increases by up to 87% with ABS, 66% with PLA and 43% with PETG HF.
